Mission
I will uphold the mission of the Grafton County Sheriff’s Department as it states:
“The Grafton County Sheriff's Department watches over the county and professionally provides public safety service by protecting life, property and people's rights through education, crime prevention, and impartial enforcement of the law.”

Vision
I will better serve the vision of the Grafton County Sheriff’s Department as it states:
“We work to provide safe and secure communities, enhancing the quality of life in Grafton County through community engagement, professional development and the delivery of available resources and technology.”
As your Sheriff, I will accomplish the department’s mission and vision by continuously creating strong relationships between the department and the citizens and visitors of Grafton County. I will create stronger relationships between the sheriff’s department and local, state and federal law enforcement agencies. I will implement educational programs for the county’s youths. In addition, I will improve the department’s morale and involvement in community events and encourage more proactive policing. I will encourage regionalized trainings for increased personnel opportunities and improved coordination and response to emergency calls. I will help the department evolve and create positive change through innovation.
